Privacy Policy
Effective August 7, 2026
Martin Franchise Consultants ("MFC," "we," "us") is an outsourced franchise sales organization based in Woodstock, Georgia. This policy explains what we collect from visitors to this website, why we collect it, who sees it, how long we keep it, and how you can ask us to delete it.
Information we collect
Contact inquiries. When you submit a form on this site, we collect the details you enter, which may include your name, email address, phone number, the brand or concept you are interested in, and any message you write.
Chat conversations. This site includes an AI assistant named Franchi. We save the messages exchanged in each conversation, along with timestamps, the page the conversation started from, and any contact details you choose to share so our team can follow up. The chat window carries this notice: "Conversations may be saved so we can follow up and improve service." Please do not enter sensitive personal information, financial account numbers, or confidential business information into the chat.
Technical information. Our hosting provider processes standard request data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested in order to serve the site and keep it secure. We do not use advertising trackers or sell behavioral data.
How we use it
We use this information to answer your questions, to follow up about franchise development or franchise ownership opportunities, to prepare internal summaries of what visitors are asking about, and to improve the accuracy and usefulness of this website and the assistant.
Conversations and inquiries are reviewed by our team, including automated summaries generated for internal review. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal consequences for you.
Who sees it
Contact inquiries and chat conversations are visible to Martin Franchise Consultants personnel. Where a conversation concerns a specific brand we represent, we may share your inquiry and contact details with that brand so the appropriate person can respond.
We also rely on service providers that process data on our behalf: our website host and database provider, our email delivery provider, and the AI model provider that powers the assistant and writes our internal summaries. These providers are bound to use the data only to deliver their service to us. We do not sell or share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep it
Chat transcripts and the internal summaries drawn from them are retained for up to 24 months, then deleted. Contact inquiries and lead records are retained for up to 36 months from our last contact with you so we can maintain an accurate record of the relationship. We may keep records longer where required by law or to resolve a dispute.
Your rights and how to request deletion
You may ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, provide you a copy, correct it, or delete it. To make a request, email Marty@MartinFranchiseConsultants.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and tell us what you would like us to do. If you are asking about a chat conversation, including the approximate date and the email or phone number you used helps us locate the right record. We respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need more time.
California residents (CCPA and CPRA). You have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Visitors in the EU and UK (GDPR). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. Where we contact you about services you asked about, we rely on legitimate interests; where you volunteer contact details in the chat, we rely on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by emailing us. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our services are directed to businesses and individuals in the United States, and data is processed in the United States.
Children
This site is intended for business audiences. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes and contact
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. For any question about privacy, reach us at Marty@MartinFranchiseConsultants.com or by mail at Martin Franchise Consultants, Woodstock, Georgia.
