With more than 30 years of retail and restaurant development, operations, sales, real estate, and marketing experience, Marty has experienced extraordinary success in the franchise industry. He has guided corporate franchise teams to increase brand presence, build physical locations and achieve profitable results. He has held leadership roles for franchise organizations, including VP of Franchise Sales for Cellairis, Asst VP of Operations and Development with Blimpie International, and as a Partner and Senior Director at Raving Brands, the parent company of Moe’s Southwest Grill, Planet Smoothie, Shane’s Rib Shack, The Flying Biscuit, and more. In a previous role as Founder/Owner of MAD Enterprises, LLC, he managed the commercial construction of restaurant and retail locations for Blimpie, Quizno’s, Merle Norman, Philly Connection, and more. As a result of his passion for entrepreneurship, Marty founded Martin Franchise Consultants, LLC in 2009, and is serving currently as CEO. He enjoys consulting and guiding franchise candidates through the detailed process of becoming entrepreneurs in the franchise world. He has assisted many emerging brands in becoming domestically and internationally successful in the past two decades. He has personally placed over 500 franchise candidates worldwide representing well over 2,000 franchised territories. Marty earned his BS in Marketing from St. John’s University in New York, and he supports local causes from Must Ministries to St. Jude Children’s Hospital to the annual WALK to CURE Arthritis event. He currently resides in the Metro Atlanta area with his wife Kelly and enjoys golf, baseball, travel, scuba-diving, gardening, and live music.
